Los Angeles CA, May 22, 2012 – The self-titled debut EP by The Endangered – a Vintage Soul and Rock band based in Los Angeles – is available now for both download and streaming at all digital service providers. Produced by Grammy®-winning, veteran producer, Steven Miller, who has previously worked with popular artists like Pink and Jack Johnson, The Endangered is a soulful collection of five beautifully written and passionately performed songs about love, loss, living and learning. Brought to life through an artistic collaboration fostered by Music180.com, an online, artist development platform, The Endangered showcases the band’s unique blend of Vintage Soul, Adult Contemporary R&B, Rock, Hip-Hop and Jazz influences. The Endangered was also recorded at the historic Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood, California.
The EP’s first single, “Calling On You,” was released on May 1, 2012 and has received airplay on the beloved community station KAZI 88.7 in Austin, Texas. This R&B ballad about overcoming heartbreak with love has even reached the airwaves as far away as Lagos, Nigeria on Smooth 98.1.
